Dave and his brother Danny on Long Beach IslandI have to say that our beach trip this year to Long Beach Island, NJ was extra special. The boys are having so much fun with their cousins. Dave went on a crab trap adventure! He bought a how to make a crab trap book, went to the Home Depot, spend way more than what a new crab trap would have cost , lol, and bought the material to make his own. He handmade his trap and off we went. We kayaked all over the bay to find the best spot and finally found it. Three days later, we had 16 crabs! Dave and his brother were our heroes! To top it off, Dave is a great cooks and he and his brother made dinner with their catch, yummy crab cakes. They were great! My husband did a wonderful job of conquering the crabs. It was a fun adventure!
Logan loved the sand and Landon got hit by huge waves and came up laughing like he hoped one would just knock him out. Only one wave scared him a little. I was a little worried, but we had about 4 people plus lifeguards watching. The boys loved the beach!
