Rich Mullins

We pulled out an old CD of Dave's when we got back from our vacation and we can't stop listening to it. It's called 20 The Countdown Magazine remembers Rich Mullins. If you don't have it, I am sorry to tell you that it's out of print, but I might be willing to burn a copy for you. It is the BEST cd we own! It has interviews of Rich Mullins along with his songs meshed together. Every time I listen to it, I am taught something brand new. It is so full of WISDOM that I can listen to it for hours and still keep learning.

Dave felt led to burn Steve from Crossroads a copy which I thought was really sweet because guys don't really do that kind of stuff too often!

Our Summer Beach Adventure

I have to say that our beach trip this year to Long Beach Island, NJ was extra special. The boys are having so much fun with their cousins. Dave went on a crab trap adventure! He bought a how to make a crab trap book, went to the Home Depot, spend way more than what a new crab trap would have cost , lol, and bought the material to make his own. He handmade his trap and off we went. We kayaked all over the bay to find the best spot and finally found it. Three days later, we had 16 crabs! Dave and his brother were our heroes! To top it off, Dave is a great cooks and he and his brother made dinner with their catch, yummy crab cakes. They were great! My husband did a wonderful job of conquering the crabs. It was a fun adventure!

Logan loved the sand and Landon got hit by huge waves and came up laughing like he hoped one would just knock him out. Only one wave scared him a little. I was a little worried, but we had about 4 people plus lifeguards watching. The boys loved the beach!

This is our first actual blog. My husband David and I are very blessed to have two healthy and happy boys. Landon is 3 and Logan is 1. We hope to share fun and inspirational stories of how these little men have blessed our lives.
